Mail Button to Auto-add Log Entries
Add a button to Mail that allows you to automatically add an email to a CJ CRM Log. Copy/paste is not a solution.

has the incoming email logging been fixed?

This is an old idea, but essential to the continued use of this app. Obviously, emails are the backbones of our communications - and we can't log them without doing a work around that takes time and effort.

I agree a mail button is imperative to attach an incoming email. Until this happens, the app is not that productive

I must be missing something in your directions. I have clicked on an email, dragged it to the files section of the contact and dropped it. Nothing happens. Please offer additional instructions.

I don't want to save the email as a file. I need to be able to simply click a button to add an incoming email to a contact's log. Until something like this happens, this app is not quite useful yet.

You can drag-and-drop an email from the Mail app into Contacts Journal on the Mac. The email will be saved in the Files section for the contact (not in Logs). You can drag the email inside a contact's Files section, or drag the email into the Files button on the sidebar and it will popup a menu to select the contact to attach the email to.

I would like to see something along these lines as well. It is good that when you create an email via Contact Journal that it automatically creates a log entry for that email, but when the person replies, there is no easy way to record their reply email as another Log entry for that Contact. Like the OP, I think cut and paste is a poor solution.
It would be great if you could drag and drop an email from the Mail app to Contact Journal and thereby automatically create a Log entry for that email.
