Further to @Zulfi's comment, you can also change the name of the "Pin Colors" (which are really just "tags"). For example you could rename a pin from "Pink" to "Hot Prospects". That way you could search for "Hot Prospects" and only people who have that pin will be displayed. It's just easier to remember what your tags mean if you rename them.
Change pin names via Manage Data > Manage User Fields > Pin Color > (ℹ︎) > List > then tap and edit the color names. You can also change the listed order of the pins if that makes sense to you.
