ToDo should be save as iOS reminders (as alternative to calendar entry)
It would be great, if Contact Journal could save ToDo's as reminders not as calendar entries.

LOG Entries to have their own set of customisable LOG FIELDS
Replicate the FIELDS tab functionality that currently exists for a CONTACT into individual LOG entries.
That is, you create a set of custom LOG FIELDS (the same way you currently can create a custom Contact Field) and then each time you create a new LOG ENTRY, you can complete the data for the LOG FIELDS as they relate to that particular log entry.
That way, you can create a custom checklist to be completed as part of each log entry in addition to the free form text that you currently can record.

A TODO title should post the todo, not the contact name.
Currently when I make a new TODO, I give it a title. When that TODO shows up in my iCal, it shows me a contact name instead of the TODO title that I've given. TODO should relate to the action, not just the contact.

Multiple Contact Selection for Task or Meeting
2 or more contacts to be clubbed together when putting details of a meeting. Normally a meeting is between 2 people, so unless i add the second person or the third person, keeping log of meeting is quite waste.

Have powerful filters to make powerful lists based on e.g. the type of prospect
Be able to apply filters based on f.e. the type of prospect, e.g. information gathering, referral, first meeting, conquest prospects.
Also I would like to be able to filter costumers where there is inactivity for certain period, f.e. 1 month, quarter, year. In this way I can easily find inactive customers and be active on this ones.

Color Code Contacts
Is it possible for me to color code a contact (perhaps by a user field)? I ask as it is a simple way for me to look at my contact list and quickly determine contacts as priorities. In my line of business Green means participating, yellow a "maybe", and Red is a "no way".
While I could create a user field stating involvement, a color on a contact quickly and easily gives me the visual I need to adjust and prioritize my day.10 votes -

Choose which iCal calendar ToDo is associated with
Choose associated iCal calendar. There is no option in preferences to select which calendar ToDo is associated with.

Some ideas
Idea 1: Make the searchbar free.
For example if my contact is Firstname:Roger Lastname:Last.My sortorder is last, first.
Today I can search "roger" but when I type "L" there is no contacts.
Opposite if I start with "Last" I can continue with his first name and the contact is presented with no problem.
Idea 2: Give us options to filter. For example given fields in contacts like town.
Idea 3: Choose more then one contact. For ex to use to send a mail to more then one person. Or ex make all contactpersons in one company a special group.

Contact by default should open on "Info" tab
when you click on a contact, the first default page should be INFO, not LOGS, or let the user change the tab order

A TODO title should be editable, not just a contact name
A TODO title should be editable. When it shows up in my iCal, I don't want to only see a contact name, I want to see a title that has deeper reference. Maybe it's an initial client meeting or a follow-up meeting, maybe it's a photo shoot, etc.

Show related emails by contact
Automatically collect emails and attach them to each contact. When I open the contact, I would see a payne with all emails to and from any emails listed on the contact. Great for tracking business, volunteer and personal coorespondance by person.
